Overcoming a sixteen-point deficit in the fourth quarter, the Seahawks triumphed by a single point at home, notching their fifth consecutive victory.

While the Los Angeles had become the first to earn a playoff spot earlier on game day, the Seahawks booked their return to the play-offs after a 24-month absence.

With this result, the Seattle now lead their Conference standings with a 12-3 mark, supplanting the Rams, who fell to the number five seed with an eleven and four record.

The Rams held a six-point advantage at the break before Walker broke free for a 55-yard touchdown run for Seattle.

Rams cornerback Wallace then took back Darnold's initial pick for 56 yards, leading to a short score by Blake Corum on the next play.

In the fourth quarter, a scoring pass from Stafford to Nacua extended the Rams' lead to sixteen points, but Shaheed provided Seattle's comeback with a spectacular return for a score.
